Snook at night respond to live shrimp or pinfish near the pilings — fish the shadow lines where pier lights meet darkness. Sheepshead in winter need fiddler crabs or small shrimp fished directly on the pilings. For Pompano, use sand fleas near the shore end in cooler months. The pier is very popular at sunset so arrive early for good fishing spots.
